Volunteering
If you are interested in volunteering at Yarra Glen Primary (for example, excursions) you will require a Working With Children Check (WWCC). These can be obtained here or at an Australia Post Office. A volunteer WWCC is free. Once obtained, we require a colour copy of your card and a signed ‘Parent Helper and Volunteer Agreement’ to complete the process. You can ask for one of these at the office.
Fundraising
If you are interested in fundraising, our amazing team of YGPS Mum’s & Dad’s would love to hear from you. Feel free to join in as an occasional helper or full volunteer, and be as involved as you like! On-the-job training is provided, however, priority will be given to those who can cook a snag on the BBQ!
